Does NextGear Capital fund VRT?

Vehicle Registration Tax (VRT) is payable on any vehicle purchased in the UK that is then imported into Ireland. Although the vehicle is assessed as soon as it enters Ireland, if you have a TAN number the VRT isn’t payable until you sell the vehicle.

All NextGear Capital dealers must have a TAN registration number to purchase vehicles in the UK using a dual currency stocking facility. Therefore we do not fund VRT as this is payable once you have sold the vehicle and it is no longer on your Stocking Plan.
