Lights, camera, action – a Motor Trader Video

It was lights, camera, action when we joined Motor Trader Magazine to film a video segment for their Bottom Line series which calls on an array of industry expertise.
What is the Bottom Line series?
The series was created by Motor Trader as a guide to help dealers protect and boost their bottom line by teaming up with a collection of industry experts to advise on becoming a successful car dealer. The focus for us specifically was the use of wholesale funding, and the things most likely to take away from the bottom line.
What does our video discuss?
Liam Quegan our Managing Director and Pam Halliday our Sales and Marketing Director provide advice on stock funding following their extensive knowledge and years of experience in the automotive industry.
An example of some advice they deliver in the video: “Wholesale funding gives you access to more stock, so if you’ve not got the capital to buy enough to cover your forecourt, getting wholesale funding allows you to do just that, so theoretically you may have more cars on your forecourt.”
They also answer common questions used car dealers have such as: “how do the approaches of different funders vary?” and “how does NextGear Capital’s Stocking Plan differ from other sources of finance/funding?”
What is the overall conclusion from the experts?
Put simply, dealers profit by using capital and knowing their product.
