Andrew Walker of FLAG tells us about the Auction House perspective...
Andrew Walker has been CEO of The Fleet Auction Group (FLAG) for over 14 years and the company prides itself on delivery of a quality product and service from FLAG's purpose built site in Coalville.
FLAG was one of the earliest independent auctions to partner with NextGear Capital and Andrew explained the reasoning behind this decision:
"We had been well aware for a long time that a lack of appropriate funding for our buyers was impacting on sales and had started to investigate; but the options available to dealers were very limited and not always fit for purpose.
When we started discussions with NextGear Capital, their Stocking Plan seemed to be the perfect solution for both dealers and auctions. We were impressed to see how the technology behind the system will make life easier for us and our dealers. It integrates so easily that processing NextGear Capital deals really is as simple as pushing a button for us.
Take up of the Stocking Plan has been steady as the brand gains recognition and trust in the market. We're seeing the amount of business written using NextGear Capital increase week by week as more dealers sign up and start spending. Dealers are telling us that having the Stocking Plan has increased their confidence in being able to buy what they need, when they need it, and it's easy to track and manage using the online system.
It's also providing us with a new level of confidence. Payment to us is guaranteed and fast, which means any dealer using NextGear Capital is more than welcome to buy at FLAG!
Looking forward, we're exploring ideas to benefit both vendors and buyers. The speed and simplicity of buyers paying with NextGear Capital means that we can be a little more creative with the offers and packages we can put in place and we're looking forward to working with NextGear Capital as the company develops."
