Industry recognition for NextGear Capital’s Pam Halliday
Our Sales and Marketing Director Pam Halliday was recognised by her industry peers last month at the Women in Credit Awards.
Pam was presented the Transformation of the Year Award at the glittering event on 21st March in recognition of the successful transformation she has led over the last three years – a period during which she has built a high performing team, driven operational excellence and grown revenues by 165%.
Commenting on her accolade, managing director Liam Quegan said:
"Pam is the last person to shout about her achievements, so I am delighted she was selected by the judges for this award. We operate in a very ambitious and competitive industry so achieving recognition like this is not easily achieved, which makes it all the more deserved.
"The judges called Pam a role model and that couldn’t be a more apt description. She has played an absolutely instrumental role in our growth over the last three years. She joined the then year-old business in December 2015 and immediately set about transforming our approach to people, product and process. In that time, she has built a motivated and mutually supportive team, secured investment for key sales support functions, led our introduction into the Irish and Northern Irish markets, and put our customer at the heart of our business through a relentless reengineering of our process and products.
"The result is not just commercial success for NextGear Capital, but also that we have a confident and happy team who in turn have influenced our enviable customer satisfaction ratings. To have this recognised by our credit and financial industry peers is superb."
The Women in Credit Awards is organised by Credit Strategy and seeks to recognise the women who’ve led their teams or businesses while redefining the gender balance of the credit and finance industry. The event took place at The Grange, St Paul’s, London.
